Moretonhampstead Parish Hall is thrilled to announce the success of a grant application for the Green Business Grant via Teignbridge District Council. We will be receiving grant funding towards double glazing and a solar system for the hall. Many thanks must also go to Sam Parkin at Moretonhampstead Parish Council for bringing the grant to our attention.
This project will receive £17,340 from the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. The double glazing is due to be installed by the end of November and hopefully the solar panels and system should be in place by the new year. Combined these will greatly reduce the carbon footprint of the parish hall making the building more efficient, warm and friendly and go towards insulating the hall from future energy price rises.
