On 13th January the scaffolding will be put up ready to install 26 solar panels on the side roof of the Parish Main Hall and on 17th and 24th the solar panels, inverter and batteries will be installed. This should provide considerable savings on electricity costs for the hall as well as providing an income from electricity exported to the grid. The project is funded by the UK Government through Teignbridge District Council “Green Business Grant”, the funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund helping small businesses to decarbonise their activities.
