After just over two months solid activity by a committed group of volunteers the new Community Kitchen with pantry, from the old chair cupboard, is nearly finished and the replacement chair storage outside is progressing well. We think it makes a huge difference to the hall and we think you will be impressed! Over 700 hours of labour has been donated so far to this project. It certainly wouldn’t have been possible without the support of the community both with the time given and the Crowdfunder support. And of course we must thank the Lottery Community Fund, the Jubilee Village Hall Fund, Devon County Council and Moretonhampstead Parish Council and Knead to Connect CIC and the Nourish Dartmoor project for their financial support.
And we must thank our neighbours for putting up with our noise, putting up with delivery lorries and letting us to borrow their tools!
